My husband and I love ethnic flavors and travelling the world has really opened up our pallet. Some of the best guacamole we ever enjoyed wasn’t in Mexico but in North Carolina, in an authentic little restaurant by the side of the road where the staff spoke very little English. What I took away from their dish was the fact that guacamole isn’t meant to be as smooth as butter- It was meant to be chunky!
Ingredients
2 ripe avocados
4 cup finely chopped red onion
1 juicy, finely chopped ripe tomato
1 fresh lemon or lime
. tsp cayenne pepper
3 tbsp hot pepper juice
This is a powerful marriage of flavors. The sourness of the lemon mixed with the sweet pungent hot pepper juice will leave your tastes buds wanting more!
Remove the meat from the avocados. Use a fork or avocado masher to mash the avocados. Stir in the tomatoes and gently mash. Add the remaining ingredients and stir together. The hot pepper juice really makes this dish irresistible!
